Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using OdooSync (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

OdooSync provides a WordPress plugin and related backend services that synchronize products, categories, inventory, orders, and customers between Odoo ERP and WooCommerce. The Service includes:

  • The OdooSync WordPress plugin
  • API endpoints for secure data sync
  • Domain-based licensing and API key management
  • Email support and technical assistance
  • Plugin updates and security patches

3. Account and security

3.1 Account creation

You must provide accurate information to create an account. You are responsible for your credentials and all activity under your account.

3.2 API key security

  • You are responsible for the security of your API keys
  • API keys must not be shared with unauthorized third parties
  • Report any unauthorized use immediately
  • We may revoke API keys that appear compromised

4. Domain-based licensing

Each API key is automatically pinned to the first domain that uses it. To change the pinned domain, contact support — domain changes may require verification.

5. Subscription and billing

  • Fees are billed monthly or annually in advance
  • Fees are non-refundable except as stated in our refund policy
  • We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before renewal

Usage limits

Plans include limits on:

  • Number of synced products
  • API requests per minute and per month
  • Number of registered domains
  • Sync frequency

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Violate applicable laws or third-party rights
  • Reverse engineer or disassemble our software
  • Send unsolicited communications through the Service
  • Overload our servers with excessive API requests
  • Share API keys with unauthorized parties
  • Use the Service for fraudulent or malicious purposes
  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data

7. Intellectual property

OdooSync owns the Service, software, and related materials. You retain ownership of all data you sync through OdooSync; you grant us a limited license to process it to provide the Service.

8. Availability and support

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Email support is available to paid subscribers; response times vary by plan. Support covers OdooSync-related issues, not general Odoo or WooCommerce troubleshooting.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

10. Disclaimers and liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. IN NO EVENT SHALL ODOOSYNC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OdooSync is not affiliated with Odoo S.A. or WooCommerce.

11. Termination

You may cancel anytime from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.

12. Changes

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
